History

Ferulic Acid was first isolated from the plant Ferula foetida, which inspired its name. Its structure was later confirmed through laboratory synthesis in 1925, and it eventually became a valued ingredient in modern antioxidant skincare.

Origin

Ferulic Acid occurs naturally within plant cell walls, where it helps give structure and strength to plant tissue.
